LIBRATONE CLASSIC LOOP SPEAKER (WIFIBT 4.0) DRIVER
Other AirPlay devices we've used have worked just fine, so we don't know why this was the case.
And Libratone Classic Loop Speaker (WiFiBT 4.0) stuff like that happens in the real world it's so frustrating - we want to be listening to the Loop's glorious sounds, not punching walls and wasting time over setup problems. To fix it was just a case of setting up the Loop again as if starting over. Verdict Our experience with the Libratone Loop has been a rollercoaster ride from frustration through to full-on aural pleasure and then back to the start again.
That being the case, and despite no Bluetooth being featured, we like the distinctive design of the Loop and just how good it can sound. For a fairly small speaker it bangs out the sound with gusto.

Big, bold, loud, full of bass - the top-end can be occasionally harsh and we did find one sub-bass laden track that made the driver rattle when at volume - there's a lot to love in the Loop's output. If you're not thinking about the cash so much then Libratone has struck the right balance of design and audio quality - which other speaker can you think of that wears a woollen jumper?
The more we mulled it over and the more audio we listened to, the happier we became. If you're an idiot like me, you might take a little while to understand how the attachments are actually added to the body of Libratone Classic Loop Speaker (WiFiBT 4.0) device. Don't be like me and paw at the outside of the blanks that are included - instead, stretch the bumper and remove it from the body completely so you can pop out the blanks and replace them with the handles or lock. The handle is a thin strap of plastic that allows a little leeway in carrying the speaker.
It feels solid enough. However, I prefer using the lock, which is fantastic for hanging it on handles and hooks in the kitchen.

Anyway, I have no problems with the usability of the device. A smart feature is that if you need to quickly lower the volume, placing your palm over the control panel will hush the speaker Libratone Classic Loop Speaker (WiFiBT 4.0) you remove your hand. This is useful if you need to quickly answer a phone call. Audio Fidelity The Zipp delivers an impressive audio experience through the lows, mids and highs.
Libratone's new Zipp speakers embrace SoundSpaces flexibility
Compared to the Sonos Play: While the SoundTouch 20 got louder, audio quality starts to deteriorate at loudness levels higher than what you can achieve with the Zipp. Libratone is able to keep its music distortion-free thanks to digital signal processing.
The presence of DSP can be appreciated with bass-forward tracks. The Zipp does a great job of delivering full-bodied lows without being muddled, and you can really feel your tabletop vibrate.

The Zipp also does well with the mids, delivering rich vocals, and the highs were punchy and bright. Users can choose to have all speakers streaming the same audio, or designate separate groups to play different music entirely.
